A learning aid designed by Barley Massey to help you thread up your sewing machine, understand different stitch functions and how to use them, add simple patches and pockets, sew seams and hems all on this humble t-towel! Students enrolling on Barley’s “Beginners Sewing 1” class receive and use this t-towel as part of her “Introduction to using a sewing machine” class. The t-towel is made from linen and printed in the UK. The edges have been purposefully left unhemmed! Option to purchase on its own or with a sewers starter kit.
The Learn to Sew t-towel Can be purchased solo or with some essential accompanying tools. A lovely gift to get a new sewer started on their maker’s journey – “Basics” (includes 2 x ‘Guttermann’ cotton thread – white & red, 1 x tape measure, 1 x stitch unpicker) or “Deluxe” (includes all the items with ‘basics’ plus a pair of Fiskars ‘Classic Dressmaking’ scissors)
