Our fortnightly Community Craft Club is an evening that provides a space to bring along your knitting, crochet, sewing, embroidery, mending, alterations and dressmaking projects. Sewcialise with other crafters, get expert advice / support with your projects, SOS (Save Our Stitches!) Also an opportunity to access our studio equipment and resources – sewing / over locker machines, tools, cutting out space.
Craft Club operates on a drop in basis, but if you would like to use a sewing machine * we do ask you to book in advance as machine spaces are limited. There is also a selection of threads, pins, haberdashery available that you can use.
* Basic sewing machine skills required. If you’ve never used a sewing machine before we recommend attending our “Beginners Sewing 1” class first.
Includes tea & biscuits. Feel free to bring along additional snacks if you wish.
Please Note: The workshop will take place in the Fabrications studio (which is downstairs from the shop via 12 steps)
