Join Trash Club and Fabrications for a special evening during London Repair Week! This is your chance to connect with the community of conscious creatives, repair your clothes, and participate in an in-person Trash Talk discussing the ups and downs of creative life and the importance of responsibility.

Whether you’re a seasoned mender or just starting out, this event is for you. Bring along your worn-out favourites and give them a new lease on life. Advice and support (if needed) will be provided. Plus, meet other like-minded creatives in the area, connect and share over light refreshments, thanks to Dalston’s Soda and Proper Snacks.

F ormat for the evening:

6:30pm: Doors open / drinks & nibbles / sewcialising / start mending if you wish!
7:00 – 8:00pm: Introductions and Trash Talk – A chat about C-R-A-P
8:00 – 9:30pm: Meet, Make, and Mend

We encourage you to bring along:

• An item of clothing in need of repair or a refresh using hand sewing.
• Your personal hand sewing kit (there will also be workshop supplies and a pick n mix of reclaimed haberdashery, patches, trims to inspire you and available to use)

Where: The event will take place in Fabrications “Re Imaginerium” studio (we no longer have a shop cat as depicted in one of the photos!) which is downstairs from the shop via 12 steps. The studio is light and bright with a homely feel to help you feel relaxed and inspired!

Time: 6:30 – 9:30pm
