A creative ‘Sashiko’ starter kit. Sashiko, meaning ‘little stab’ is the Japanese art of stitching beautiful patterns using running stitch. Often used to add strength, texture and warmth to old garments, Sashiko has become synonymous with complex repeating patterns and precise, mindful stitching.


Each kit includes:

100% cotton, navy fabric

40m of Japanese ecru cotton embroidery thread

4 inch ‘Seigaiha’ template,

White water soluble fabric pencil

Gold-eye embroidery needles (size 3-9) x 16pcs.
