An opportunity to work on a dressmaking project with Barley’s support and studio facilities. This might be a new

All levels of sewer are welcome but you do need to know your way around a sewing machine.
During the day, Barley will also share advice and tips on certain techniques that your pattern might call for, getting a good fit and ways of achieving a professional finish to your make.
Time: 11am – 5:30pm
Class Size: 4 participants to ensure social distancing and plenty of individual working space.
Class Includes: Use of ‘Brother’ sewing machine & over-locker, pattern paper, tools, selection of threads and haberdashery (but check that we have what you need in advance of the class)
Please Bring: Your Project! Ideally cut out your pattern pieces in advance of the class, but if you are new to working with patterns, you are welcome to cut out with Barley’s assistance. We also sell some patterns at Fabrications.
