Event Details

An opportunity to work on a dressmaking or accessory project with Barley’s support and studio facilities. This might be a new pattern you’d like help with, a half finished garment you’re a bit stuck on, an upcycling/refashioned item or perhaps you’d like to make a pattern from your favorite garment. Feel free to get in touch in advance of the class to talk through your project idea.

All levels of sewer are welcome but you do need to know your way around a sewing machine.

During the day, Barley will also share advice and tips on certain techniques that your project might call for, help you get a good fit and suggest ways of achieving a professional finish to your make.

Time: 11am – 5:30pm

Class Size: 4 participants to ensure plenty of individual working space.

Class Includes: Use of ‘Brother’ sewing machine & over-locker, tools, selection of threads and haberdashery (but check that we have what you need in advance of the class)

Please Bring: Your Project! Ideally cut out your pattern pieces in advance of the class, but if you are new to working with patterns, you are welcome to cut out with Barley’s assistance. We also sell some patterns at Fabrications.

Price: £75

HOW TO BOOK: Contact us directly on 020 7275 8043 or BOOK ONLINE

Please Note: The workshop will take place in the Fabrications studio (which is downstairs from the shop via 12 steps)
