'Air BnB' community building day'. Participants created 'Tie-Bows' (bow ties from re used men's ties) and worked together to design, prepare and machine stitch bunting for the office! Many participants had never used a sewing machine before and fully embraced the challenge and had a great deal of fun!

'Beside' textile project to create a collaborative banner on the theme of  "A journey towards mental well being and wholeness". The brief was open so Barley Massey developed a fluid project alongside Beside's members to meet their needs and interests. Initially Barley ran a series of taster sesions in a range of techniques - knitting, crochet, felt making, embroidery and weaving. This was followed by a period of designing, sampling and then the making and completing of the final work of art using felting and embroidery techniques. The piece was stunning with many layers of meaning around mental health. An exhibition was organised at The Ideas Store in Whitechapel and the piece now hangs in one of Beside's meeting areas.

Hen Parties, Craft Parties, Kids parties and more! 'The Imaginerium' is an ideal venue for crafty get togethers and parties. We have range of activities we can offer to suit your special day. We also have a lovely kitchen area full of crockery, cakes stands, platters etc if you want to bring along your own party food and drinks. Please contact us if you'd like to find out more.

'Good Companions' over 50's club, Kingsmead Estate (Hackney) Collaborative project run in conjunction with 'Eco Active' and 'Immediate Theatre Company'. Participants explored their theatrical characters while weaving together strips of fabric cut from old clothing sourced from 'The Cabin', the Kingsmead's community thrift shop. Their 'characters' woven textile pieces were then interconnected into a larger poetic textile piece, which was used as a backdrop for a performance for the local community.
