Newham Mayor's show + Stepney Green torch relay event

Date: 21 July 2012 12:00 to 18:00
Details:

Fabrications is proud to be hosting a few creative workshops in 2 different locations on the same day! However both events have something in common - The Olympic torch will be arriving at both!

Location 1: Stepney Green torch Relay celebration, Stepney Green Park, 12 - 5pm.
We'll be running the following 'drop in style' workshops - 'Medals & Rosettes' using simple hand sewing and upcycled materials in go faster stripes and a bit of bling and 'Great felted balls of fire' roll 100% wool fleece in your hand to create felted balls in vibrant shades of yellows, oranges and reds!

Location 2: Newham Mayors Show, Central Park, East Ham, 10 - 6pm
Come and find us in the 'Craft & Hobbies' tent for one of our 'drop in style' workshops -  make one of our fabulous fascinators using upcycled materials and vintage haberdashery or perhaps a knitted scarf or item of jewellry on our GIANT french knitting wheels.

All materials are provided, take your creation home. Both events are family and community based and FREE!
