Fabrications is proud to be offering this special workshop with David A Mumford, a very creative and skilled fashion designer and maker. David began designing and making clothes in the early 80's. He has run his own labels in the commercial fashion industry and most recently (2004 - 2013) he was one of the designers of the pioneering upcycling clothing brand 'Junky Styling'. He now has his own brand D.A.M specialising in upcycled commissions and one off pieces (and on sale in Fabrications shop!)
The class is aimed at people with a basic knowledge of sewing and able to use a sewing machine. During the class you will learn basic deconstruction methods, work with combining stretch and stable materials, overlocking and how to insert a Zip. - Look at the shirts and realise a new stylish possibility!
