Fabrications "Celebrate the Maker" Day (Barley Massey presents: "Remember Me")

Date: 9 December 2017 11:00 to 17:00

Fabrications " Celebrate the Maker Day" (Special FREE event)

An open studio event aimed at showcasing the individual designer makers who's work is available at Fabrications.
Come along, meet the makers, hear their stories and buy direct!

Come along and chat to textile artist Barley Massey - many of you may have met me behind the counter of Fabrications or teaching a workshop! Today however, I will set up a special exhibition of my "Remember Me" service downstairs in the 'Imaginerium' and be giving a mini tour around my service, that is close to my heart.

Through my "Remember Me" service, see your cherished threads transformed. Bring me your special textile items, such as baby clothes, school uniforms or from lost loved ones, I remake them with creativity and care into cushions, blankets, quilts or bears: providing comfort and joy to you and your family.

This is an especially popular service in the lead up to Christmas, I would love to talk through ideas with you in turning your items into special Christmas gifts.

I am looking forward to seeing you and showing you my work.  Best Wishes, Barley X
